OUR CULTURE The notion of family has carried through J&J Industries from the time of just 15 employees to the 824 employees that make up the company today. Simply put, J&J Industries' leaders and owners view the entire corporate body as family.

The corporate values of J&J Industries are the same values of the founding families and can be used interchangeably at home or at the work place. These include the focus on Christian principles and serving people. The culture of the company is best expressed in the statement of - Purpose, Commitment and Mission.

These statements continue to be carried out through the years with acts that show care and compassion toward all employees. One of the most anticipated events is the annual Christmas Dinner in which everyone gathers around to hear former CEO, Jim Bethel read the Christmas Story. During this fellowship time, Profit Sharing checks are handed out and, employees enjoy a dinner catered with the traditional holiday items.

Along with annual traditions, the leaders feel that preventative wellness is another way that they can contribute to employees' well being. This is depicted in the "Working for Life" program which pro-actively manages health and wellness for all active associates. Employees are given the opportunity to earn credits for many of the free health screenings and events offered each month by J&J Industries.

J&J Industries also encourages sustainability, not only in business practices but at home as well. Recently, recycling containers were added to the campus in which employees can bring paper, plastic and aluminum recyclables from home. Each employee was given a bin to easily transport recyclables.

Our corporate culture is very much like a family. Everyone is recognized and appreciated, from tufting and extrusion to the officers of the company - no job goes unnoticed. J&J Industries is recognized throughout the community as a great place to work.
